About Ayça Yılmaz

Ayça Yılmaz, an accomplished industrial designer, embarked on her creative journey at Anadolu University, honing her skills and passion for design. As an exchange student at L'École de Design Nantes Atlantique, she gained invaluable insights and a multidisciplinary perspective.

Ayça's design philosophy revolves around questioning and exploring every element's impact, allowing her to play with abstraction and materials, culminating in mesmerizing materializations. She values diverse perspectives, seeking unique conjunctions of ideas in her work.

Her talent transcends borders, as Ayça has made her mark not only in Turkey but also in the Netherlands, materializing numerous successful projects. In 2021, her exceptional design for a bagless vacuum cleaner earned her the prestigious Plus X Award, recognizing her innovative approach and dedication to excellence.

She is Selected Young Turkish Designer for the project "Future Heirlooms" initiated by the American Hardwood Export Council in partnership with The Circle and Yonga Mobilya
